My name is Alex.
I live on the French Riviera, south of France in the department of Alpes
Maritimes (06) near Cannes where every year the Film Festival takes place.
I discovered the Radio 6 years ago in 1996 and I can thank you for ever
Sylvain to whom I say Hello 14sb06.
The first radio CB which permitted me to make my first contact in AM/FM in
1996 was a midland I kept a year and a half then I got a Dirland DSS9000F in
1998 which it had the BLU where I did my first long distance liaison DX with
a vertical antenna SIRIO GP27 installed at just one meter from the ground!!!!
Following this, in 1999 I got my first directional antenna which was a Yagi
of 3 elements.

Here is my story of the beginning of this fabulous and passionate hobby of
mine.
